“I think it is good. I think it is about time, ” retired Air Force Reserve Chief Master Sgt. Kathleen Wood, of Belchertown, said Wednesday.

Wood retired in April from the 439th Airlift Wing at Westover Air Reserve Base in Chicopee after a 36-year-career in the Air Force Reserve.

안녕하세요 저는 한국에 있는 000초등학교에 다니는 000입니다.
이 곳은 지금 봄/여름/가을/겨울 입니다. 그래서 기온이 000 합니다.
그 곳의 계절은 무엇인가요?
제가 해외에 가 본적이 없어서 무척 궁금합니다. 어제 사회 시간에 아프리카의 사바나 기후에 대해서 배웠는데, 직접 접해보지 못한 계절이어서 무척 혼동되었지만, 그래도 이 다음에 그런 곳을 여행할 기회가 생기면 체험해 보고 싶습니다.

제가 그곳에 메일을 쓰는 이유는 바로 이것입니다.
엄마와 함께 서울에 있는 미술관에 견학을 갔습니다. 그곳에서 저는 충격적인 그림을 보았는데, 그것의 제목은 Simon and Pero (Roman Charity)였습니다.

젊은 여자의 젖 가슴을 노인이 쪽쪽 빨아대는 그림이었습니다. 엄마는 급히 저의 눈을 가리셨지만, 어쩌겠어요 이미 보고 말았는걸.. 그런데 큐레이터 분이 설명해 주신 그림에 관한 사연을 듣고 나서는 엄마도 저도 그 그림이 너무 애국적이라는 느낌을 받았습니다.

그 그림은 루벤스가 푸에르토리코의 역사적 배경을 모티브로 그렸다고 하네요. 그 곳에서는 이 그림을 어떻게 생각하세요? 정말 대단한 그림인가요?
